Heartworm testing is recommended annually or whenever heartworm prevention is missed, starting at 7 months of age. Feline retroviral testing is recommended for new kittens, sick cats, and cats who go outside. The Idexx SNAP Feline Triple Test screens for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
